Rating of socio-economic development of the regions of the Republic of Tatarstan in January 2020

The Ministry of Economy presented a monthly rating of socio-economic development of municipal districts and urban districts of the Republic of Tatarstan for January 2020.

In the overall rating for January, the leading positions were occupied by Kazan (1st place), Almetyevskiy (2nd place) and Laishevskiy (3rd place) municipal districts.

The Buinskiy municipal district has risen in the ranking by 6 positions, Aksubayevskiy, Alekseyevskiy and Kaibitskiy municipal districts - by 4 positions. These positive changes are due to an increase in purchasing power, wages and a decrease in unemployment.

On a per capita basis, the volume of shipped products on average in the republic amounted to 51.21 thousand rubles, among the municipalities the highest results for this indicator - in Almetyevskiy (361.5 thousand rubles), Nizhnekamskiy (150.0 thousand rubles) and Novosheshminskiy (102.3 thousand rubles) municipal districts.

As of February 1, 2020, the registered unemployment rate in the republic amounted to 0.56%. In 32 municipalities, this indicator is below the national average. The lowest unemployment rate was registered in Aktanyshskiy (0.16%), Aksubayevskiy (0.2%) and Laishevskiy (0.2%) municipal districts, the highest - in Elabuzhskiy (1.08%), Zelenodolskiy (0.97%) and Tyulyachinskiy (0.82%) municipal districts.

0.065 square meters of the total housing area per capita was commissioned in January 2020 in the republic. The leading districts for this indicator are Pestrechinskiy (1.345 square meters), Laishevskiy (0.280 square meters) and Tyulyachinskiy (0.164 square meters).
