Tatarstan youth presents projects in the framework of the “Our Tatarstan” Forum

Projects in the field of innovation, entrepreneurship, architecture, culture and art and other fields will be presented in Kazan in May. The capital will host the finals of the “Our Tatarstan” Republican Youth Forum. Since 2010, the forum has been the main platform for the youth of the republic, where any young person or team can present and defend their project, find like-minded people for implementation, and receive public and state support.

Authors of projects and ideas aged from 14 to 30 years, as well as young scientists under the age of 35, students of higher and secondary special educational institutions of the republic, activists of Tatarstan children's and youth public associations can take part in the forum.

The best youth projects will be presented at the final exhibition of the Forum with participation of the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan, and will also be included in the register of youth initiatives for further support and promotion by relevant ministries and departments. The forum is the main platform for selecting the best ideas from the Republic of Tatarstan for participation in federal projects, such as iVolga, Territory of Meanings, Tavrida and others.

Let us recall that the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan coordinates projects in the field of entrepreneurship. Annually in-person qualifiers are held at the site of the Ministry of Economy, where forum participants present their ideas to expert commissions. The experts are representatives of the state authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan, public figures, faculty members of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as successful entrepreneurs and cultural representatives.

Last year, the 1st place in the field of entrepreneurship was taken by the project of a 2nd year student of the Department of Design and National Arts of IFMK KFU Sadriyeva Aigul. The girl presented an exclusive collection of products using the technique of patterned leather mosaics and the project of workshop on creation of handmade leather products “Bulgari”. Aigul became the owner of a monetary certificate for development of her business, and also got the opportunity to represent the youth potential of the Republic at the federal level. It is worth noting that the girl’s project successfully exists to the present day, the young entrepreneur implements leather products of her own production throughout the country.
