“Open Innovation” Startup Tour will be held on March 11-12 in Innopolis

“Open Innovation” Startup Tours are held in Russian cities. This is a large-scale project aimed at searching for promising innovative projects and development of competencies of startup teams implementing high-tech projects. In Tatarstan, it will be held on March 11-12 in Innopolis.

The first day of the event will be devoted to discussing the digitalization of Tatarstan. Representatives of the “Skolkovo” Foundation and other development institutes will share their experience with technology entrepreneurs. The central event will be the discussion “Region as a Reference Point for Transition to Digital Economy” with participation of representatives of government, business, industry, and education.

The second day will be a regional competition of innovative projects. Participants will compete for a cash prize of 300 thousand rubles and the opportunity to participate in the “Start” program from the Innovation Promotion Fund. All winners of the competition will receive invitations to Startup Village - the largest start-up conference in Russia and the CIS countries.

This year this competition is held in three areas: biotechnology in medicine and agriculture, information technology, industrial and energy technology.
