The Social Projects Support Fund, created with the assistance of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, announced the start of accepting applications for the VII acceleration program. To participate in the selection, entrepreneurs implementing business projects in the social sphere should complete the registration form by March 31, 2020. Participation in the program is free.
Accelerator acts as an institution of active development of business. Based on the results of acceleration, participants will be able to determine effective business models for the further implementation of projects and improve their financial performance. Also, the accelerator platform allows you to work out a project with leading experts in the field of social entrepreneurship, identify problem areas and determine growth points.
Representatives of small and medium-sized businesses related to social entrepreneurship in such areas as education, healthcare, social services, culture, sports, ecology and information technology are invited to participate in the program. Moreover, the project should be at the implementation stage and have the potential for self-sufficiency and further scaling.
The program will be launched in April 2020. According to the results of the evaluation of applications for starting intensive, about 100 teams will be invited to Moscow, where they will have a second qualifying stage, after which 50 projects will undergo a two-month acceleration. The best teams will present their business ideas to potential partners and investors.
It is worth noting that entrepreneurs from Tatarstan have repeatedly participated in acceleration programs. Their projects were highly appreciated, and entrepreneurs themselves were among the best graduates. Such examples of successful implementation of a business idea include the Wise Kids Center for Child Development. The center was created by a graduate of the acceleration program - Natalia Gazizullina in Kazan. The center offers classes for children in the following areas: speech therapy, defectology, neuropsychology, psychological counseling, psychotherapeutic classes, as well as preparation for school. Information support on the project coverage was undertaken by the Entrepreneurship Support Fund subordinated to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
