Kazan, Almetyevsk and Laishevo are leaders in social and economic development for 2019
The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan prepared a monthly rating of socio-economic development of the municipal districts and urban districts of the republic for January-December 2019. The leading positions are still held by Kazan, Almetyevsk and Laishevo.
Compared with the results of last year, Chistopolskiy district rose by 9 positions, Alekseyevskiy and Muslyumovskiy districts - by 7 positions. This is due to a decrease in unemployment, an increase in the total area of residential buildings put into operation, and an increase in gross agricultural output.
On a per capita basis, the volume of shipped products on average in the republic amounted to 737.94 thousand rubles. Among municipalities, the highest results for this indicator are in Almetyevskiy (4,794.1 thousand rubles), Nizhnekamskiy (1,933.8 thousand rubles) and Novosheshminskiy (1,651.4 thousand rubles) districts.
As of January 1, 2020, the registered unemployment rate in the republic was 0.54%. In 35 municipalities, this indicator is below the national average. The lowest level was registered in Aksubayevskiy and Aktanyshskiy (0.17% each), in Laishevskiy (0.21%) districts.
In January-December 2019, 0.686 square meters of total housing per capita were commissioned in the Republic of Tatarstan. The largest area was commissioned in Pestrechinskiy (4.481 square meters), Laishevskiy (2.589 square meters) and Verkhneuslonskiy (2.467 square meters) districts.
