RT Minister of Economy will take part in the Gaidar Forum 2020

The XI Gaidar Forum “Russia and the World: Challenges of the New Decade” will be launchedk on January 15 at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. It is expected that the forum will bring together about five thousand representatives of science and politics, financial circles and the business elite from Russia, Europe, America, and China.

The delegation from Tatarstan will be headed by the President of the Republic Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Minister of Economy Farid Abdulganiyev will take part in the Forum.

85 panel and expert discussions, open dialogs, presentations and meetings are planned in the days of the forum from January 15 to 16. Special events of the Gaidar Forum include the presentation of books, annual meeting of the Russian branch of organizations - members of SDSN “Prospects for the SDSN Development in Russia”; open lecture by Tatyana Chernigovskaya “Brain vs Artificial Intelligence”; open meeting of the public council of the basic organization of the CIS countries on training in the field of public administration; open meeting of the NASDOBR Presidium “Results of 2019 and new frontiers of public-private partnership in assessing the quality of business and management education”.

This year, leading experts from around the world will discuss the global challenges of the coming decade in the areas of economic development, healthcare, digital initiatives in sports, modern government, Russian education, as well as environmental policy and climate, the digital revolution.

For foreign guests, the Gaidar Forum is an important source of information on the main trends in socio-economic and political development, state of business environment and investment climate in Russia. For Russian experts, participation in the event allows to determine the prospects for further economic growth and Russia's integration into the global economy.

This year the organizers of the XI Gaidar Forum are the RANEPA under the President of the Russian Federation; Institute of Economic Policy named after E.T. Gaidar and the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia. The general partners of the events are Gazprom PAO and Gazprombank AO.
