This year, the economy of Tatarstan attracted 82.5 billion rubles from the Federal budget, 80% of which have actually arrived in the Republic.
A meeting on the issue involving the Federal budget to the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today with members of the Federation Council, deputies of the state Duma from the Republic and heads of Executive bodies of state power of the region, the Chairman of the RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin. Summing up the preliminary results of the current year, he announced the approved limits of Federal funding to the economy of the Republic as of November 25.
This year, their volume within the framework of state programs of the Russian Federation, Federal target programs, the Federal targeted investment program, subsidies, subventions and other inter-budgetary transfers amounted to 82.5 billion rubles. Of these, to date, the Republic has actually received 66.2 billion rubles, or 80.2% of the limit approved by the Republic. This is 4.2 billion rubles more than the same period last year.
Minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev delivered the main report "on attracting Federal funds to the economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in 2019 and tasks for the medium term". He said that the financing of a number of sectors of the economy of the Republic in 2019 has increased significantly due to the implementation of national projects. Thus, about 15 billion rubles were allocated from the Federal budget for the development of the transport system of the Republic, including at the expense of the investment program of JSC "RR", which is 8.5 billion rubles more than in 2018.
The volume of Federal funds for the Republic of Tatarstan in the framework of the national project "SME" in 2019 amounted to about 1.6 billion rubles. For comparison: last year, about 70 million rubles were allocated to the Republic to support the sector of small and medium-sized businesses. According to this indicator, Tatarstan is the leader among Russian regions. The funds allocated within the framework of this national project are aimed at financial, infrastructure, consulting, information and educational support for entrepreneurs.
As part of the implementation of the national project "health Care" from the Federal budget allocated funds in the amount of 1.1 billion rubles, which are aimed at updating the material and technical base of health care institutions of the Republic, including the development of primary care.
In the area of housing and communal services and environmental protection, funding from the Federal budget was increased by 1.8 billion rubles, which allowed the implementation of investment projects for the reconstruction of treatment facilities in a number of municipal districts of the Republic.
In addition, thanks to the implementation of the national projects "Housing and urban environment", "Education" and "Demography" this year, 2 secondary schools for 2,725 places were commissioned, 3 will be opened next year, 30 kindergartens were built.
"National projects provide additional support for the development of regions, helping to attract Federal funding to their budgets. In turn, the amount of funding directly depends on the activity of the regions in the implementation of national projects. In this regard, I want to remind you once again of the need to fully utilize the budget allocated for their implementation and ensure the achievement of the tasks set before the end of the year, " Farid Abdulganiev summed up, Recalling that the first year of implementation of national projects will be summed up in early 2020. The city of Kazan, where the first all-Russian forum "National development" will be held, was chosen as a platform for discussion.
In his report, the Minister also named the areas of the economy, the financing of which has decreased. Thus, due to the completion of major investment projects, the decline occurred in the military-industrial complex of the Republic.
