III international forum "Intellectual property" will be held in Kazan and economy of Russian regions
The event is organized by the Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan as an authorized body in the field of innovation.
The state policy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of intellectual property assumes in the period up to 2024 the implementation of the program "Economic development and innovative economy of the Republic of Tatarstan", as well as its subprogram – "Development of the intellectual property market in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2016-2021". These tools contribute to the growth of competitiveness of local producers in the Russian and foreign markets through effective management of intellectual property and commercialization of innovations.
As part of the implementation of the state program, the III international forum "Intellectual property and economy of Russian regions" will be held on November 12 – 13, 2019 in Kazan at the "IT Park" site. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the event. Also invited to the Forum are the heads of the Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation, Rospatent, innovation promotion Fund, heads of regions-members of the Association of innovative regions of Russia, heads of companies actively introducing intangible assets into economic activity. The event is organized by the Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan as an authorized body in the field of innovation.
The forum will be an open platform for the exchange of experience in the field of commercialization, protection of scientific and technical activities and management of its results, the study of the best world practices, presentations of developments of enterprises and young scientists from different regions of Russia.
It is also expected that the Forum will open the Kazan branch Of the Russian licensing company (LES Russia) and will sign an agreement between LES Russia and the Kama innovative territorial production cluster "Innokam".
"A successful state strategy in the sphere of intellectual property always takes into account the best international and regional practices. In 2018, Tatarstan ranked first in the Volga Federal district and fourth in Russia as a whole in the number of applications for intellectual property. Compared to 2017, the number of applications for inventions increased by 5.5%, for utility models-by 13%, for industrial designs-by 3.7%, for trademarks-by 34%. New solutions that contributed to this dynamics will be presented at the Forum", - said the Minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev.
In addition, the Forum program includes round tables on the topics of lending to enterprises secured by intellectual property, staffing, export and import of technologies in this area.
