The Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan signed an agreement with the operator of digital products on cooperation in the field of metallurgy

Within the framework of the forum "ZILANT" opened in Kazan, Minister of economy of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev noted the need for consistent measures to digitalize and" whitewash " the economy of the region and create transparent conditions for document management and financial settlements in the metallurgy industry. To achieve these goals, the Forum concluded an agreement with the operator of the electronic payment systems market on cooperation in the scrap metal processing sector.

The Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan has signed a cooperation agreement with the settlement non-Bank credit organization (NSCA) "United cash". The subject of the agreement is a joint long-term work on the development in the region of the sphere of procurement, storage, processing and sale of non-ferrous and ferrous metals.

According to the agreement, RT Ministry of economy in the framework of its powers intends to provide "a Single payment" assistance in the interaction with market participants for the procurement, storage, processing and realization of scrap of ferrous and non-ferrous metals on the question of informing about the use of advanced technologies, products and services.

"The Republic of Tatarstan is actively solving the problems of transition to the digital economy in the framework of the national project "Digitalization". Accessible digital environment is necessary not only for the operational interaction of the state and the business community. The introduction of integrated digital solutions will automatically obtain reliable statistics on all stages and participants of the economic chain, - said the Minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev. "We set ourselves the task to transfer financial and document flow between the participants of transactions in the field of metal processing into a transparent modern digital plane and thereby radically improve the business climate."  

The introduction of digital tools will improve a number of key indicators in the industry: the volume of the taxable market and additional tax revenues from the self-employed in the metal processing sector.

It is planned that in the near future the parties will provide more detailed information on possible cooperation in the implementation of Russian and Republican legislation in the framework of joint commissions and Advisory expert groups.   

According to Sergey Bludov, Chairman of the Board of rnco "United cash", cooperation in the development and integration of digital products in the economy of Tatarstan will allow to legalize the mechanisms of functioning of this sector of the economy.

"New approaches to the organization of settlements in the turnover of ferrous and non-ferrous metals will increase the level of transparency of the entire industry. Digitalization is designed to increase not only the level of state control over the industry, but also the efficiency and profitability of the business of scrap companies, " said Sergey Bludov. 

Representatives of the electronic payment system "United cash Desk" in order to implement the agreement, for their part, intend to consult on assessing the effectiveness of the proposals of the business community on payments for the procurement, storage, processing of scrap metal, as well as to use their expertise in stimulating technological modernization and innovation in the field of recycling.
