224 applications from socially significant NPOs entered the competition of the Ministry of economy of Tatarstan

Non-profit organizations from 42 municipalities of Tatarstan apply for subsidies.

Applications for participation in the competition on granting subsidies from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan to non-profit organizations of Tatarstan (NPOs) implementing socially significant projects have been completed.

"From year to year, the interest of non-profit organizations in our competition is growing. This year 224 socially important projects from 42 municipalities of Tatarstan applied for participation. For comparison, in 2018, 35 municipalities with 199 projects participated in the competition, – said the Minister of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev. - The competition Commission will select the most worthy projects to be implemented by the end of 2020. The total amount of support will be 35 million rubles."

The competition for subsidies for NPOs for socially significant projects is held for the fourth time.

This year the most applications were received in the nominations: "The development of charity and volunteerism and patriotic education of youth" (44 applications), "the development of the socio-cultural environment of the municipalities, improve the quality of leisure and access to cultural heritage, development of tourism and hospitality" (36 applications), "the Development of mass sports, including inclusive forms physicall improving and sports activities, and promotion of healthy lifestyle" (29 applications) and "Development of additional education, digital education, scientific-technical and artistic creativity" (25 applications).
