22 rural schoolchildren of Tatarstan will take part in the final stage of the contest "Agro NTI - 2019" . The competition is aimed at involving young people from rural schools (grades 5 – 11) in the work on the technological priorities of the National technology initiative (NTI), through familiarization with high-tech projects in agriculture.
Together with them, representatives of Volgograd, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Saratov regions will compete for the title of the best. The children will have to pass engineering competitions in the most interesting areas in agriculture: AgroMeteo, AgroKosmos, AgroKopters and AgroRObots. During these competitions, participants need to demonstrate the skills of using digital technologies and solving the problems of robotics in the field of agriculture, the use of drones for agriculture.
The competition is held in Tatarstan with the support of the Innovation assistance Fund and the Ministry of economy of the Republic.
As Tatarstan Minister of economy Farid abdulganiev Noted, the importance of this competition is difficult to overestimate: "Not only the present, but also the future of the Republic depends on what people live in the cities and villages of the Republic today. Agriculture is a vital sector in the economy of Tatarstan. For its further development requires real professionals who can work with modern technology and software. Today's students will become young specialists tomorrow, and our task is to help them realize themselves in their small homeland."
The winners of the final stage will have the opportunity to take part in a special site at the Russian agro-industrial exhibition "Golden autumn-2019".
Recall that In the regional stages, held in April this year at 9 sites of agricultural universities in Russia, was attended by about 16 thousand people. The cities of Almetyevsk (August 29 – 31) and Belgorod (September 5-6) were chosen for the final stages.
