Yelabuga hosts the All-Russian spasskaya fair

The XII All-Russian spasskaya fair, which will last three days, has been opened at Shishkin ponds in Elabuga.

Minister of economy of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev came to the official part of the event.

Spasskaya fair has become a kind of brand of Elabuga, a holiday where hundreds of thousands of tourists come from all over Russia.

This year 650 masters registered for the Fair.

Jewelry, national costumes, ceramics, metal lace, products made of bast and much more will be brought from 40 regions of the country, as well as Belarus and Lithuania.

The fair presents the products of the agricultural sector and processing industry, producers of consumer goods, as well as numerous children's and sports grounds, rural farmsteads, restaurants and cafes.

Last year just in three days Spasskaya fair in Elabuga was visited by more than 218 thousand people, which is 2.5 times more than the total population of the city.
