Residents of Tatarstan appreciated the quality of roads

Subordinated to the Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Center for advanced economic research summed up the results of a sociological survey on the quality of roads in the region, which included the opinions of more than 15 thousands of Tatarstan citizens.

A positive assessment of the condition of the roads gave the inhabitants of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Agryz, Buinsk and Yutazinsky municipal districts. Most of the complaints about the deterioration of roads were in Aktanyshsky, Bugulminsky, Zainsky, Kaybitsky, Kukmor and Nurlat municipal districts.

At the same time, one in five respondents noted the improvement of roads in the country, and 36.8% of respondents believe that the quality of roads remains the same.

Within the framework of the national project "Safe and high-quality roads" in 2019-2021, 13.1 billion rubles will be allocated to roads in Tatarstan, including 7.3 billion rubles from the Federal budget and 5.8 billion rubles from the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2019 it was 5.4 billion rubles (3.1 billion rubles from the federal and 2.3 billion rubles from the regional budgets).

The funds will be used for the implementation of regional projects "Road network", "System-wide measures for the development of road facilities" and "Road safety".
