Export accelerator to be launched in Tatarstan

Companies planning to export will have access to a comprehensive educational program and expert evaluation of projects.

The entrepreneurship support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the international company KPMG in August-September this year for the first time will hold the program "Export accelerator" for small and medium-sized businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan aimed at entering foreign markets.

The main accelerator program will be held in Kazan from August 26 to September 21, 2019. Additional workshops for a wider range of potential exporters will be held from September 23 to October 15 in Kazan, Almetyevsk and Naberezhnye Chelny.

The acceleration program for start-up exporters is aimed at the accelerated development of export activities of SMEs and includes educational activities.

As a result of the program, potential exporters will be identified, for which importers will be searched, a commercial proposal will be formed, an examination of export contracts and their support will be carried out by KPMG.

The acceleration program will allow SMEs to develop a comprehensive understanding and structural approach to export activities: from market selection to logistics route calculation and minimization of legal and financial risks.

SMEs that have not previously exported but have export potential can participate in the training.

For all participants of the accelerator, expert support and support from KPMG will be provided both during the training and directly at the stages of preparation for export activities.

According to the Ministry of economic development of Russia, presented earlier at the meeting of the Presidium of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation on strategic development and national projects, the Republic of Tatarstan was among the leaders among the regions of the Volga Federal district for the development of exports of small and medium-sized businesses.

The main export partners of Tatarstan are traditionally Western Europe and CIS countries. Also in 2018, new directions were opened - the Gulf countries (UAE, Bahrain, etc.).
