Russian Minister of economic development Maxim Oreshkin visited the unique fish-breeding complex "Biosphera-Fish»

Minister of economic development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin and President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the fish-breeding complex "Biosphera-Fish" in the village "Zimnyaya gorka" of Laishevsky municipal district.

The project has been implemented in Tatarstan since August 2017 within the framework of the Federal program "Development of fishery complex" aimed at preserving the country's fish resources.

 The equipment of the second stage of the project is being installed.

"In December 2018, Biosphera-Fish LLC was provided with preferential leasing financing in the amount of 192.7 million rubles at 6 percent annual interest from the "Regional leasing company of the Republic of Tatarstan",  said the Minister of economy of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev. - These funds have purchased 14 of recirculation aquaculture systems for fish farms from of JSC "Giproribhoz". The equipment is imported and installed in batches, financing is carried out in tranches."

 The complex is designed for breeding 5 million sturgeon fry, 1 million baby sterlet and production 50 tons of commercial sturgeon sturgeon.

In March 2019, Biosphera-Fish LLC has also received preferential financing from the Ministry of economic development of the Russian Federation ("Program 1706") in the amount of 200 million rubles at 6.5 % annual interest for 5 years.

The project has no analogues in the region. Production will not only provide the market of Tatarstan with high-quality fish products of local production, but also will fill the biological resources of water bodies of the Volga-Kama region.
