Advice, financial support and access to the export has shown an increased demand from Tatarstan entrepreneurs

Informational and financial support of Tatarstan entrepreneurs is going ahead. The Ministry of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan summed up the results of the first half of the national SME project.

Information-consulting and financial support, as well as the pace of export of Tatarstan producers demonstrated the outstripping growth.

The annual plan for the number of active microloans portfolio of the non-profit organization "Entrepreneurship support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" has reached 120,8% of planned fulfilment. Scheduled microloan portfolio is 477 units, pracitcal portfolio amounted to 576 units.

The annual volume of financial support provided to SMEs with the guarantee support of the non-profit organization "Entrepreneurship support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan has reached 110,7% of planned fulfilment. With the planned 2.2 billion rubles, support provided has amounted to 2.4 billion rubles.

Also, the annual plan for the number of small and medium-sized businesses and self-employed citizens who received information and consulting support has reached 102.8% of planned fulfilment. For one year it was planned to consult 3907 entrepreneurs and self-employed citizens, but in the first half of this year the support has already been given to 4016 businessmen. 

The half-year indicator on the number of SMEs marketed on international level with the support of the Center for coordination of support of export-oriented SMEs was fulfilled by 102.2%. While the annual plan is 90 exporters to foreign markets, there are already 46 companies marketed on the international market.

"The total number of entrepreneurs in the country has also increased in the first half of the year. The increase was 4.4 thousand and today in the Republic of Tatarstan there are 163.7 thousand businessmen. Of course, in order to stand on their feet confidently, they need both consulting support and financial support. To make it as effective as possible, we are focusing today on the best practices, including those of municipal level. Today, at the Federal level, the project of ASI called "Smartek" aims to collect best practices. Tatarstan plans not only to share its practices within the project, but also to develop its regional counterpart. I am sure that it will reveal additional potential for further growth of entrepreneurship in the country," Minister of economy Farid Abdulganiev said.

Needless to say, that in order to implement the national project "Small and medium entrepreneurship and support of individual entrepreneurial initiative" five regional projects, which are components of Federal projects, have been developed and approved in the Republic of Tatarstan: "Improvement of business conditions", "Expansion of access of small and medium-sized businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan to financial resources, including concessional financing", "Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses of the Republic of Tatarstan", "Promotion of entrepreneurship", "Creation of a system of support for farmers and  development of rural cooperation".
