Innovators support programs were discussed at a seminar in Kazan

The implementation of innovative ideas and participation in support programs was discussed at a seminar in the Boiling Point - Kazan collective work space. The event was attended by representatives of more than 20 applicant companies. The speakers were the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Indira Kireyeva, the Deputy Head of the Microfinance Center of the Tatarstan Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, Ramzil Gataullin, and the Public Representative and Expert Petr Baskevich.

It was noted that republican innovators can apply for contests within the framework of the programs “Umnik”, “Start”, “Commercialization”, “Cooperation”, “TsMIT”, “Development”, “Most”, “Internationalization”. They are aimed at creating new and developing existing high-tech companies, commercializing the results of scientific and technical activities. Winners of competitions can receive from 500 thousand to 20 million rubles.

In 2018, the Innovation Support Fund supported more than 100 Tatarstan projects worth 360.4 million rubles. By the number of supported applications, Tatarstan is among the top five regions. The republic does not stop on this. New projects are being developed for participation in grant competitions.
