More than 60 billion rubles are planned to be attracted to the economy of the republic this year

Today a meeting of the Chairman of the State Council Farid Mukhametshin with members of the Federation Council and deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation elected from Tatarstan, representatives of relevant ministries and departments of the republic took place in Kazan, at Kazan Expo. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Economy Airat Shamsiyev.

This year it is planned to attract 61.1 billion rubles from the federal budget to the economy of the republic. Tatarstan is represented in 23 state and 7 federal targeted programs.

Among the major events financed from the federal budget, the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic, Airat Shamsiyev, called the investment program of Russian Railways, the state program “Developing industry and increasing its competitiveness”, “Ensuring the country's defense industry”, “Developing the transport system”, “ Protection of the population and territories from emergency situations, ensuring fire safety and the safety of people on water bodies” and investment projects of the republic through the Development Fund of industry.

Additional support for development of regions from this year have become national projects. The republic has developed 47 regional projects affecting the sectors of the economy and the social sphere; two more are being coordinated. In 2019-2021, 44.6 billion rubles will be allocated for the implementation of national projects in the republic, where intergovernmental transfers of the federal budget - 34 billion rubles, budget funds of the Republic of Tatarstan - 10.6 billion rubles. The total amount of funding for national projects in Tatarstan for 2019 is about 21.3 billion rubles, including 16.7 billion rubles from the federal budget.

The Chairman of the State Council urged deputies and senators to make maximum use of opportunities for attracting additional federal financing to the republic.
