The licensee’s remote school talks about the issues of radiation control of scrap metals

A new lesson is posted on the website of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the “Licensee Remote School” section. It is designed for entrepreneurs engaged in the procurement, storage, processing and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

The topic of radiation control of scrap metal was touched upon the request of scrap enterprises and was reviewed at public hearings on the results of law enforcement practice of licensing control for 2019. The online lesson discusses the hygienic requirements for ensuring radiation safety during the procurement and sale of scrap metal and features of radiation monitoring.
