Development of entrepreneurship was discussed and the best were selected in Naberezhnye Chelny

More than 28 thousand small and medium-sized businesses with an annual turnover of 205 billion rubles - businessmen of Naberezhnye Chelny discussed business development issues.

On June 3, 2019, the Congress of Entrepreneurs of Naberezhnye Chelny and the “INNOKAM” districts was held. Representatives of business and government discussed the development of entrepreneurship and awarded the participants of the contest “Young Entrepreneur of Avtograd-2019”.

Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeyev, State Duma Deputy Alfiya Kogogina, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiyev, heads of enterprises of Naberezhnye Chelny and INNOKAM districts, financial organizations, representatives of public associations of entrepreneurs, socially oriented non-profit organizations took part in the Congress.

According to Mayor of the city of Naberezhnye Chelny Nail Magdeyev, they use all possible measures of state financial support for business in development of entrepreneurship in the city. The programs of the Ministry of Economy are especially popular. Thus, over the past three years, 237 companies received financial support in the amount of 757 million rubles. 16 billion rubles were invested in the economy of the city, almost 3.5 thousand new jobs were created.

The development of entrepreneurship directly depends on the state policy pursued in this area. The Ministry of Economy is responsible for supporting and developing small and medium-sized businesses, creating a competitive environment and attracting investments in small and medium-sized businesses.

“Today Naberezhnye Chelny has excellent business development indicators, but there is also a potential for further growth. In the near future, we expect to introduce new support tools. One of them will be the Promotion Management System on the market for products manufactured in Tatarstan. Very soon, it will become a strong help in stimulating the development of domestic producers, which will positively affect both the economy of the city and the republic as a whole”, said the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiyev.

Currently there are more than 28 thousand small and medium-sized businesses in Chelny. This is more than 87 thousand people who produce a third of the gross territorial product.

As noted at the event, last year the turnover of small and medium-sized enterprises increased by 28.0% and amounted to 205 billion rubles. This is more than 25% of the turnover of all enterprises and organizations of the city. The share of manufacturing production is increasing from 20% to 24% in 2018. The share of tax revenues to the city budget is also growing every year. At the end of 2018, it amounted to 34.0%.

The number of small and medium-sized businesses, residents of TASED, is growing, enterprises of the city are actively implementing new investment projects. 12 industrial parks and sites operate in Chelny. Last year, the number of residents increased by 5% and amounted to 324 organizations. The number of employees increased by 29%, the turnover of enterprises and tax deductions - by 13%.

The event also included round tables on digital technologies, participation in government orders, export, increase in labor productivity, and business support programs.

At the end of the Congress, the winners of the annual city competition “Young Entrepreneur of the Avtograd-2019” were awarded.

Murzabayeva Ruzilya won in the nomination “successful start” with the project “Manufacture and sale of children's handmade play furniture from environmentally friendly materials”;

Yury Negoryuyev was the winner of the nomination “Discovery of the Year” with the project “Football Complex “Angar”;

Baltachev Daniil won in the nomination “Social Entrepreneurship” with the project “Health Courses in the Norbekov System”;

Zaripov Dayan became the winner of the nomination “Innovative business” with the project “Development and production of devices in the field of fire safety”. He also received the highest award of the competition - the title “Young Entrepreneur of Avtograd – 2019”.
