Tatarstan is among the leaders in socio-economic development

At the end of 2018, Tatarstan became one of the regions of Russia - leaders in socio-economic development. The study was conducted by RIA Rating.

The leaders of the rating were also Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra and the Moscow Region.

Improving the investment climate, creating a comfortable and predictable business environment for investors is currently one of the priorities of the Republic of Tatarstan’s economy. In particular, the work to improve the investment climate is aimed at improving the regulatory environment, increasing the availability of infrastructure and resources, supporting small business and improving the efficiency of business protection mechanisms.

On June 7 the results of the main rating of the country, which all regions of the Russian Federation are oriented to - the National rating of the state of the investment climate in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation will be announced at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The national rating is conducted by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Last year, the Republic of Tatarstan took 3rd place in it.
