Strategic session “Implementation of national projects in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan: from federal tasks to the advanced development of the region”

On May 23 - 24, 2019, a strategic session “Implementation of national projects in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan: from federal tasks to advanced development of the region” organized by the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the National Research University “High School of Economics” was held on the site of the High School of State and Municipal Administration of Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University.

The event was attended by representatives of the executive bodies of state power and municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan, involved in implementation of the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 7, 2018 No. 204 “On National Goals and Strategic Objectives of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024”.

On the first day of the strategic session, the leading experts of the Higher School of Economics presented the main results of the examination of regional components of national projects and related materials of the Republic of Tatarstan to prepare advanced development scenarios of the republic in the medium and long term, and also held group discussions to discuss each regional component of the national project.

During the strategic session, the participants, together with experts, prepared proposals and initiatives for adjustment of regional projects, and also made proposals for amending national projects and federal legislation to achieve key indicators of national projects.
