The first “Boiling Point” is opened in Tatarstan
Today, in Kazan IT Park, with support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, the first “Boiling Point” in Kazan was solemnly opened - a collective work space created under the auspices of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
The opening ceremony was attended by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Special Representative of the President of Russia for Digital and Technological Development Dmitry Peskov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Deputy Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Indira Kireyeva, Director of the State Autonomous Institution “Technological Park in the field of high technology “IT Park” Anton Grachev and other officials.
The first “Boiling Point” was created at the site of Kazan IT-Park for organization of effective work of technological and social entrepreneurs, young scientists and engineers, artists and designers, representatives of the real and financial sectors, small and medium business, innovators and students, teachers and schoolchildren who develop their ideas and business.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, speaking at the opening, expressed the hope that “Boiling Point - Kazan” would become an important intellectual space for a creative approach to solving urgent problems.
“We will create all conditions so that there is a comfortable educational center, a place for meetings. Here everyone can find himself”, he said.
Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Agency for Strategic Initiatives for supervising the project and expressed the opinion that the experience of the organizers would help the development of the collective work spaces in Tatarstan.
Dmitry Peskov stressed that Tatarstan today is a source of best practices. “There is no other place where so many interesting large-scale events take place at the same time: the WorldSkills Russia finals, the Digital Industry conference, and the Boiling Point is opening today”, he said.
“Boiling Points” are opening in Tatarstan at the sites of IT parks in Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, Farid Abdulganiyev, the Minister of Economy of Tatarstan, said earlier. Their launch will be an additional incentive for innovative entrepreneurship. The project can be especially useful for IT entrepreneurs”.
“Boiling Point – Kazan” - 25 “Boiling Point” of urban format. The space works on the principles of openness, accessibility and friendly proactive environment. The point is available for free events to promote the implementation of the National Technology Initiative, as well as educational project events aimed at development of high-tech business in the region and the country.
