Law of Innovation Activity will be adjusted

The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiyev presented for consideration amendments to the law “On Innovation Activity”.

The draft law is aimed at updating and clarifying certain provisions of the current version of the law “On Innovation Activity of the Republic of Tatarstan”. When adjusting it, it is proposed to bring the concepts of “innovation policy of the Republic of Tatarstan”, “innovative product” and “business incubator” in accordance with federal regulatory acts, to supplement the law with the concepts of “high-tech technopark”, “engineering center” and “prototyping center”.

When adjustments are taken into account, the state report “On Innovation Activity in the Republic of Tatarstan” will be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and posted on the official website of the Ministry of Economy, which is the authorized body in the field of innovation activity.

The procedure for the examination of R&D and innovative projects proposed for further implementation at the expense of the budget of the Republic of Tatarstan is also assigned to the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
