Investment potential of Tatarstan was studied by French delegation

A delegation of the French Republic led by the head of the France-Russia Friendship Group, Longuet Gérard, visited the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on April 16.

The meeting with foreign guests was held by Minister Farid Abdulganiyev.

He noted that attracting foreign investment is one of the priority directions of economic development. The main volume of investments comes from the United States of America, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and China. French companies also trust Tatarstan and open their representative offices here. During the discussions, it was noted that the investment infrastructure of the republic is attractive for implementation of French business projects.

The participants of the event considered promising areas of cooperation and expressed hope for further cooperation.
