The Ministry of Economy held a meeting with young leaders of Tatarstan
Today a meeting with the finalists of the Republican contest of young leaders “Upwards!”, who had an internship at the Ministry of Economy, was held. The meeting was held by the Deputy Minister Oleg Pelevin.
During the meeting, the Director of the competition, Alla Kondratieva, spoke about the selection procedures, stages of the contest.
The Republican contest of young leaders “Upwards!” is aimed at forming a mechanism for training and internship of managerial personnel for state and local government bodies, institutions and organizations, and youth public associations of the Republic of Tatarstan. The contest has been held annually since 2009. The contest was organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Regional Public Organization “Academy of Creative Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan”. According to the results of competitive procedures, finalists are determined who are sent for internships to ministries and departments of the Republic of Tatarstan. The finalists have the opportunity to join the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Deputy Minister Oleg Pelevin said that following the internship results, the Ministry of Economy recommended the inclusion of Spitsky Denis into the Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan. In addition, Denis is already working in the Export Support Center of the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.
During the meeting, Chairperson Alla Abrosimova told about the goals of the Youth Government.
The Youth Government of the Republic of Tatarstan is a permanent advisory and consultative body under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, engaged in project, representative, expert-analytical activities and operating on a voluntary basis. The youth government was created on December 28, 2016. Its goal is to create conditions for involvement of citizens aged 18 to 30 years, permanently residing on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, in the socio-economic, political and cultural life of society.
Following the meeting, Oleg Pelevin called on activists to participate in projects implemented in the republic, to offer their initiatives, since it is young people who have to build the future of Tatarstan, defined by Strategy 2030.
