Startup tour has been launched in Naberezhnye Chelny

Today in Naberezhnye Chelny, the Open Innovations Startup Tour has started with a panel discussion “Sources of Digital Breakthroughs in the Regions”. The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Oleg Pelevin.

Startup Tour experts shared their views on what factors are decisive for a successful transition to a digital economy, spoke about ongoing initiatives to develop and support technology entrepreneurship.

Tomorrow, within the framework of the event, a start-up competition will be held in three areas: information technology, industrial and energy technology, biotechnology in medicine and agriculture. Project creators will get a chance to compete for a prize of 300 thousand rubles.

Open Innovations Startup Tour is a large-scale project in Russia and the CIS countries, aimed at spreading the culture of technological entrepreneurship and identifying promising innovative projects. For 8 years, it was held in more than 70 cities, experts reviewed more than 15,000 applications submitted for the competition. The event was organized by the Skolkovo Foundation and the Skolkovo Forum.
