Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum will be held from September 2 to September 4, 2019 in Kazan. For the first time, the pavilion of the exhibition on chemical engineering, biotechnology and environmental protection ACHEMA of the Association of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology DECHEMA Austellungs will be open at the forum. This was announced today at a meeting of the Board of Directors of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding, OAO, by Lev Semenov, General Director of Kazan Fair, OAO.

The meeting was chaired by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov. The event was attended by the Minister of Economy Farid Abdulganiyev.

Lev Semenov noted that this year the forum would be dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the mining and industrial supervision of Russia. Exhibition “Oil. Gas. Petrochemistry”, “GEO-Kazan: Exploration. Geodesy. Cartography” and “Inter-plastics Kazan” will be held within the forum.

For the first time, the forum will host such events as the international conference “Compound Market in Russia 2019: Growth Potential in Different Segments”, an extended meeting of the Scientific and Technical Council Section of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostekhnadzor) for the safety of oil and gas facilities, as well as a seminar-meeting “Peculiarities of federal supervision in construction and operation of chemical and petrochemical facilities”. The forum also planned a number of conferences and round tables.

Lev Semenov reminded that last year 221 companies from 7 countries and 45 cities of the Russian Federation participated in the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum.

Moscow developer of intelligent systems AKSITEH, OOO plans to open its representative office in Tatarstan. This was announced by Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company Aleksandr Bazulev. He presented modern technologies of automation and dispatching of enterprises of fuel and energy complex and housing and public utilities. The company produces, in particular, automated systems for recording energy and water resources, pollutant discharge, monitoring the gas-air environment and wastewater composition, and detecting leaks in pipelines.

Kamil Akhmadeyev, Deputy General Director of Kazan PLCGRUP, OOO, in his report presented the equipment of own design for oil and gas facilities. The company, founded in 2011, plans to build its production in Sokury village of Laishevskiy district. PLCGRUP designs equipment for processing oil, gas and gas condensate - heat exchangers, gas separators, filters, block equipment, reinforcement units and hydrocarbon metering units. The company's customers are enterprises of the NOVATEK, Gazprom and Rosneft groups.

The international consulting company Arthur D Little offers Tatarstan oil and gas companies to set up innovation development systems and conduct their audit. This was told by Pavel Vlasov, the Project Director of Arthur D Little Russia.

In addition, a presentation of the book by Arkady Kuramshin, an Assistant Professor at Kazan Federal University, “Elements. Wonderful dream of Professor Mendeleyev” took place. It is dedicated to the International Year of Periodic Table of Chemical Elements, declared by the United Nations in 2019. The discovery of Dmitri Mendeleyev, according to the author, radically changed the chemistry, allowed to move from alchemy to prediction of the properties of substances. The table is even called the most important invention in materials science after the taming of fire. One of the participants of the meeting expressed the opinion that it is necessary to fight for the official name “Periodic Table”.

Dmitri Mendeleyev was directly related to Tatarstan - he developed gunpowder formulations at the Bondyuzhsky plant, A. Kuramshin also said.

Rustam Minnikhanov called the book very interesting and popular in form of presentation. He recommended making it available electronically to schools.

He also proposed to organize events in Tatarstan in connection with the 150th anniversary of the periodic table of chemical elements. Events on this topic may be timed to coincide with the Day of a chemist in May and the Tatarstan oil and Gas Chemical Forum in September.

Also today, during the meeting, the company's annual report for 2018 was preliminarily approved and candidates for members of the Board of Directors of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding, OAO were considered.
