Ministry of Economy supported the project on development of fire and rescue sports

In Almetyevsk, a competition in fire-applied sport among schoolchildren was held in the framework of the project “Fire-applied (rescue) sport as means of promoting a healthy lifestyle among children and teenagers”. The project is implemented with support of the Ministry of Economy of Tatarstan.

As noted by organizers, the event is aimed at solving the main tasks of shaping a healthy lifestyle for children by holding sports competitions in fire safety, as well as promoting fire and rescue service, profession of firefighter and rescuer.

The competitions were held in two stages - overcoming the 100-meter obstacle course and climbing the assault ladder through the window of the training tower. 11 teams from 10 schools demonstrated their abilities. The winner of the competition was the team from Nizhnemaktaminskaya school No. 1. It received the challenge cup. The second place was taken by the team from Secondary General Education School No. 7 and the third place - the team by Secondary General Education School No. 12.
