Farid Abdulganiyev: “5 federal projects contribute to development of business in Tatarstan”

Strategic issues in the field of small and medium-sized businesses formed the basis of regional components of federal programs. Tatarstan participates in all 5 federal projects aimed at supporting entrepreneurship. This was announced today by the Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiyev. A general meeting of the Republican Coordinating Council of Deputies Associations of “Edinaya Rossiya” Party in the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Novosheshminsk.

According to the Minister, in the near future it is planned to involve various categories of citizens, including self-employed, in the sector of small and medium-sized enterprises, to increase the volume of financial support, preferential loans. By the end of 2024, about 20 thousand representatives of small and medium-sized businesses should work in the field of agriculture. Grant support of peasant (farmer) farms is provided for them for creation and development of farms and development of agricultural consumer cooperatives.

As Farid Abdulganiyev noted, this year the registration of 60 thousand self-employed citizens is expected in the republic. By the end of 2025, it is planned to export 407 small and medium-sized businesses. In the next 6 years, the number of people employed in the field of SMEs will increase to 672 thousand people.
