Issues of implementation of the Strategy-2030 were discussed today at a press conference

Today, the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan held a press conference on topic “On implementation of the Strategy of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan until 2030 and its legislative actualization”. Oleg Pelevin, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic, answered questions of journalists.

In his speech, he spoke about the work carried out within the framework of the Strategy. In particular, within the framework of implementation of republican programs for the period of the Strategy implementation (2015-2018):

- 24 new schools for more than 14 thousand pupils, 93 kindergartens for more than 13 thousand kids were introduced,

- 285 schools and 267 kindergartens were repaired,

- 146 cultural facilities were built;

- more than 600 objects of physical culture and sports;

- 965 health facilities were built and overhauled;

- more than 9.5 million sq. m. of housing were commissioned;

- housewarming was celebrated by 28.6 thousand families under the social mortgage program;

- 328 public spaces were landscaped.

Oleg Pelevin noted that in accordance with the legislation, it is possible to make changes to the Strategy once every 3 years. Last year, work was initiated to formulate proposals for amending the Strategy.

“As with the development of the Strategy, its supplement takes into account the views of the widest possible range of participants - government authorities, enterprises, educational and scientific institutions, youth and public organizations.

A special site http://i.tatarstan2030.ru/ was created, where every resident of Tatarstan could leave his strategic initiative. Since its launch, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nurgaliyevich Minnikhanov has received more than 3.5 thousand initiative proposals”.

At the same time, the main changes in the Strategy are related to synchronization with the implementation of national projects of the Decree of the President of Russia on National Goals and Strategic Development Objectives, which is in fact the main strategic document of the country until 2024.

In particular, based on the implementation of national projects in the Strategy, the planned values ​​for life expectancy, proportion of the population systematically engaged in physical culture and sports increase, in fact, new sections on housing construction and comfortable urban environment, ecology and digital economy are added.

On March 18, the draft law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Tatarstan “On Approval of the Strategy of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Tatarstan until 2030” will be considered at the meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.
