Tukayevskiy district - a leader in terms of employment. Scientists of the Academy of Sciences conducted socio-economic research

About half of the total population of the Tukayevskiy district of Tatarstan is involved in the work. This conclusion was made by scientists of the Center for Advanced Economic Research of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan after the analysis over the past 5 years. A high level of employment was also noted in Kazan (more than 40%), Laishevskiy, Elabuzhskiy, Leninogorskiy, Almetyevskiy, Verkhneuslonskiy, Sabinskiy, Nizhnekamskiy, Novosheshminskiy districts and Naberezhnye Chelny (from 34% to 38% of the total population).

Results of the study showed that the lowest mortality rate in the republic is in Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan, Nizhnekamskiy, Elabuzhskiy, Almetyevskiy, Baltasinskiy, Mendeleyevskiy districts.

As part of the study, scientists calculated an inclusive development index, with which they estimated how effectively wealth in the region raises the standard of living and contributes to the growth of equality of the population.

The index calculation is divided into three categories:

∙ Involvement (inclusion)

∙ Equality of Generations

According to the first indicator - gross territorial product per capita - Almetyevskiy, Novosheshminskiy and Cheremshanskiy districts took the leading positions. In these districts, more than 90% of the volume of products shipped was owing to the extraction of minerals, and the volume of GTP was about 1,100-1,500 thousand rubles per capita. This is more than 2 times higher than the national average.

The value of labor productivity in the republic in 2017 amounted to 1,628 thousand rubles, in districts from 707 to 5,179 thousand were recorded. In 10 municipalities, this indicator exceeds the average values ​​of the republic in the range from 1.5 to 3.2 times - these are Leninogorskiy, Mendeleyevskiy, Zainskiy, Aznakayevskiy, Sarmanovskiy, Nurlatskiy, Bavlinskiy, Novosheshminskiy, Almetyevskiy, Cheremshanskiy districts.

Scientists revealed that in the whole of the republic, over the past 5 years, there had been a positive trend in the growth of the inclusive development index. Almetyevskiy district, Kazan, Nizhnekamskiy and Elabuzhskiy districts, Naberezhnye Chelny became the leaders among municipalities in inclusive development.
