"My Documents" Centers entered the top 5 projects for the WSIS Award

“My Documents” state and municipal service centers entered the top 5 projects submitted for the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS).

WSIS prize is a unique international competition created to form an effective mechanism for evaluating and recognizing individuals, states, regional and municipal institutions for successfully implementing development strategies using information and communication technologies.

After reviewing by a group of experts, 1064 ICT projects from around the world were nominated for the competition, and over 2 million votes were received from WSIS interested parties. My Documents Centers are selected as WSIS 2019 Champion in Category 7 - AL C7 "ICT Applications: Benefits in All Aspects of Life - E-Government."

The winners of the WSIS Prize 2019 will be announced during the WSIS 2019 award ceremony at the World Summit on the Information Society, which will be held on April 8-12 in Geneva.

The network of multifunctional centers providing state and municipal services “My Documents” was created about 10 years ago.

Today in Tatarstan there are 57 “My Documents” offices and 281 remote reception windows in rural settlements (TOSPs). Each MFC provides more than 150 types of services.
