Introduction of changes to the Strategy-2030 is in its final stage in Tatarstan

The cycle of preparing changes to the Strategy for Social and Economic Development of Tatarstan until 2030 is being completed in the republic. The main law provides for a procedure for adjusting the Strategy-2030 every three years.

Discussion of the changes took place at various venues. Results of scientific research as part of the work to supplement the Strategy-2030, proposals of the executive authorities, local governments, enterprises, public organizations, educational institutions, as well as the general population through the website of strategic initiatives http: //www.i.tatarstan2030.ru were taken into account.

The main changes in Strategy 2030 are related to participation of the Republic of Tatarstan in implementation of national projects in accordance with Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 07, 2018 No. 204 “On national goals and strategic objectives of development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024”. In particular, on the basis of federal priorities, the life expectancy of the population increases to 80 years (2030), as well as to 63% for the proportion of the population who are regularly engaged in physical culture and sports (2030).

The draft law on amending the Strategy-2030 has been agreed with the executive authorities, reviewed at meetings of the Public Councils of ministries, departments, municipalities, final boards of the executive authorities, reporting sessions of municipalities, citizens gatherings, discussed in the Public Chamber and with trade unions of the Republic of Tatarstan.

It is planned to consider the draft law at the Interdepartmental Coordinating Committee on Legal Issues and the Expert Council of the Committee, after which the draft law will be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan and the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan for consideration at relevant Committees and a meeting of the State Council.
