Results of the All-Russian contest of best practices of socio-economic development were discussed today at a press conference

3 Tatarstan projects became winners at the All-Russian competition of best practices and initiatives for the socio-economic development of Russian regions. This was announced today by the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Indira Kireyeva, at a press conference in the "Tatarstan-Inform" Information Agency.

State Information System “Social Register of Population of the Republic of Tatarstan” became the winner in the category “Ensuring Accessibility of Services in the Social Sphere”; in the nomination “Creating conditions aimed at the growth of information and technological potential of the region”; in the nomination “Creating conditions aimed at increasing the information and technological potential of the region” - the project “Open Kazan”; in the nomination “Development of tourist potential of the region” - Official travel brand “Visit Tatarstan”.

Indira Kireyeva noted that in 2018, 724 practices and initiatives from 77 regions had entered the competition. The Republic of Tatarstan was one of the leaders in the number of practices submitted to the competition. 24 practices within the framework of 8 possible nominations were submitted from the republic to participate in the competition.

Elmira Zaripova, Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, said that the State Information System “Social Register of the Republic of Tatarstan” was intended to optimize activities to provide targeted measures of social support to the population, providing services in the field of social services, accounting and monitoring of families and socially dangerous minors, as well as provision of social services in the field of social protection, including in electronic form.

More than 4.3 thousand specialists from 850 social institutions work in the System. Today, all recipients of social support in the Republic of Tatarstan are registered in the GIS “SRN RT”, their number was more than 1.7 million people. In total, the database of the System stores information about more than 3.7 million citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Dmitriy Anisimov, Chairman of the Housing and Utilities Committee of the Executive Committee of Kazan, noted that the Open Kazan project was intended to optimize the interaction between apartment owners in apartment buildings and management organizations. Through it the following issues are resolved:

1. Increasing the transparency of interaction between owners of apartment buildings and managing organizations.

2. Increasing the transparency of the process of receiving and processing applications from the public on housing and utilities issues.

3. Improving the quality of housing and communal services.

4. Increase of loyalty to the authorities in general and to the housing and utilities sector in particular.

The practice results on the example of implementation in Kazan became the following:

- decrease in number of residents' complaints on housing and communal services to the Internet reception of the Mayor of Kazan by 28%;

- reduction of the period for accepting and processing applications from residents by 3 times;

- reducing the number of applications with expired regulatory period of 4 times;

- average number of successfully executed applications increased to 99%;

- number of emergency applications decreased by 30%.

Aigul Balakhontseva, the Head of Tourism Product Promotion Department of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism told about development of the project - Official tourist brand “Visit Tatarstan”. Visit Tatarstan program is aimed at developing the tourism and hospitality industry in the Republic of Tatarstan, promoting Tatarstan at the regional and federal levels, and providing high-quality tourist services. It is aimed at development of the tourism industry in Tatarstan.
