Farid Abdulganiev: "There is a persistence of economic growth trends in the republic, as in Russia as a whole". GRP - 2 trillion 440 billion rubles

Despite the slow pace of development in the global economy, there is a persistence of economic growth trends in Tatarstan. This was announced today by the Minister of Economy of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev.

Currently results of work of last year is summarizing and tasks for the current are setting in two ministries at once - the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan. The board with participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is dedicated to implementation of national projects.

“The year 2018 is characterized by large-scale de-globalization, protectionist policies, market pressure on currencies of a number of developing countries and a general escalation of tension in the trade sphere”, said Minister Abdulganiev.

The gross regional product in 2018 was estimated at 2 trillion 440 billion rubles, with a growth rate of 101.5% compared to 2017.

Taking into account the implementation of the May Decree of the President of the country, a forecast for the next six years has been formed, according to which the growth of the GRP will be 117.9% in 2024 in comparable prices of 2018.
