Entrepreneurs can make proposals to the draft federal law on the principles of state regulation in the field of trade

Public discussions of the draft federal law “On Amendments to Article 2 and 9 of the Federal Law “On Principles of State Regulation of Trade Activities in the Russian Federation” are held on the federal portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

The project intends to consolidate the criteria of the trading network for delimitation of small, medium and large businesses, as well as to establish a minimum income threshold. In addition, the draft law establishes a number of requirements and prohibitions related to mutual settlements for organizations engaged in sale of food products, as well as entities engaged in supply of food products in the network.

Adoption of the draft law will improve the legislation on trade activities and thus ensure transparency of trade decisions by the authorities, unification of requirements for business entities in connection with trading activities, simplify the procedure for organizing trade activities for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as their interaction with by suppliers.
