More than 8,000 opinions on draft government and regional documents were prepared over eight years of work of the regulatory impact assessment mechanism. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development to the newspaper "Izvestiya". Of these, 1,130 conclusions were prepared last year. They allowed the business to save 150 billion rubles. In previous years, regulatory impact assessment saved about the same amount for entrepreneurs.

The regulatory impact assessment mechanism allows you to prevent the appearance of rules leading to unreasonable expenses of entrepreneurs. According to the results of the regulatory impact assessment, a negative opinion was prepared on the draft resolution on re-equipment of railway rolling stock with additional equipment, the adoption of which could entail total costs of more than 31 billion rubles.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development, today there are more than 9 thousand regulations that establish mandatory requirements for entrepreneurs. They are planned to be overestimated with the participation of experts, controllers and regulators, as well as the business community. Not revised requirements will be recognized invalid, and then cancelled.
