Applications for contest on the "START" support program are accepted

Receipt of applications under the support program “START”, organized by the Fund for Assistance to Development of Small Forms of Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere, continues. It is aimed at creating new and supporting existing small innovative enterprises seeking to develop and master the production of a new product, technology or service using the results of its own scientific, technical and technological research, which are at the initial stage of development and have significant potential for commercialization.

Program projects are implemented in three stages:

1) The amount of funding for the first stage is up to 2 million rubles. This is the "seed stage" during which research is carried out, the development of a prototype product, its testing, creation of intellectual property, etc. are carried out.

2) The amount of funding for the second stage is up to 3 million rubles. At this stage, a prerequisite is to raise funds for the project from extrabudgetary sources in the amount not less than the funds provided by the Fund.

3) The amount of funding for the third stage is up to 4 million rubles. At this stage, there are two options for co-financing the project by the company:

- attraction of off-budget investments (option - investment);

- attraction of own funds of the enterprise (option - self-development).
