Supervision holidays for small and medium businesses were extendeduntil December 31, 2020

Supervision holidays for small and medium businesses will operate for another two years. Innovations are reflected in the Federal Law of December 25, 2018 No. 480-FZ “On Amendments to the Federal Law“On Protection of the Rights of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs in Implementation of State Control (Supervision) and Municipal Control”and Article 35 of the Federal Law“On Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal", which was signed by President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. According to the document, control and supervisory measures in relation to business will not be held until December 31, 2020. The exception is scheduled inspections in the following cases:

- risk categories, classes (categories) of danger are establishedwithin the state control;

- activities related to health care, education, social sphere, heat supply, electricity, energy saving;

- grossviolations were committedduring the previous 3 years;

- in relation to licensed activities;

- scheduled inspections are carried out within the framework of monitoring the work of auditing organizations, within the framework of federal state assay supervision, state supervision of radiation safety, protection of state secrets, and the use of atomic energy.

Also scheduled inspections were canceled within the framework of the federal state control over tariffs in the field of water supply and wastewater disposal. Mandatory scheduled inspections are kept only within the framework of regional state control.
