Farid Abdulganiev: “Economic activity in the republic remained throughout the year”
This year gross regional productwill bemore than 2.4 trillion rubles. This was announced today by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, FaridAbdulganiev, to the winners of the contest of journalistic works and media projects on development of small and medium-sized businesses. The event was held in the House of Entrepreneur. The Minister said that the main contribution was made by industry and trade. The industrial production index is 101.9%, the volume of products shipped is about 2.8 trillion rubles. He noted that economic activity in the republic remained throughout the year.
“Over the past years, Tatarstan has consistently been among the most attractive regionsfor investments, due to combination of high investment potential and low investment risk. In 2018, the SEZ "Alabuga" for the fourth time entered the world ranking of special economic zones", said Farid Abdulganiev.
Work on creating infrastructure for business development continues- there are 83 facilities (70 (+2 by the end of the year) industrial sites and 13 industrial parks). 26 thousand jobswere created. This year, creation of "Zelenodolsk" industrial site was completed. Today, already 6 residents are implementing their investment projects there. Also work on creation of an industrial park in Nizhnekamskwas completed. In 2018, work aimed at development of preferential zones in the Republic of Tatarstanwas actively carried out. To date, there are four territories of advanced socio-economic development in the single-industry towns in NaberezhnyeChelny, Chistopol, Zelenodolsk and Nizhnekamsk.
“This year we launched a portal for small and medium-sized businesses related to control and supervisory activities and inspections of entrepreneurs “Proverennyi Business”. Currently, the portal has created more than 3 thousand personal accounts, more than 60 thousand views”, said Farid Abdulganiev.
New business support measureswere introduced. As part of the Guarantee Fund, a new product - a Single Crediting Centerwas launched. For the first time, the Guarantee Fund of the Republic reached record levels in terms of the amount of issued guarantees for the year - more than 1.0 billion rubles, which allowed small and medium-sized businesses to attract 3.6 billion rubles of debt financing.
“Development of MFC network continues. This year 3 new modern offices were opened in Kazan and Chistopol. In 2019, we plan to launch it in Yudino (Kazan) and in Chelny”, said the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
“Today it is extremely important to see the prospect, think about the future and be one step ahead. The main directions of the long-term development of the republic are laid down in the Strategy-2030 adopted in 2015. This year, large-scale work was carried out to introduce changes to the main document of long-term development of the republic. The views of the widest possible range of participants were taken into account: the authorities, enterprises, educational and scientific institutions, youth and public organizations”, said Farid Abdulganiev. Synchronization with national projects implementation is provided as part of the changes to the Strategy 2030. In Tatarstan, implementation of national projects is the main strategic issue for the near future. More than 48.5 billion rubles of budgetary funds will be spent on their implementation within three years.
