A meeting of the Board of Directors of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding OAO was held in Kazan in the House of Government of the Republic of Tatarstan under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov.
During the meeting, a list of hydrocarbon raw materials and petrochemical products was approved for deliveries within the republic's petrochemical complex in 2019. A detailed document on hundreds of product positions, which is annually coordinated by the main producers and consumers, was presented by the General Director of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding Rafinat Yarullin.
The President of Tatarstan positively assessed the results of analysis and instructed the companies to work out issues related to the lack of raw materials.
Then the General Director of Tomsk NIOST OOO, Yuriy Kazakov (the company is engaged in research and development for petrochemical holding SIBUR) made a report. He notes that SIBUR intends to cooperate with petrochemical enterprises and universities of Tatarstan in development and production of catalysts and elastomers.
Yuriy Kazakov reminded that following the results of Rustam Minnikhanov’s visit to the Tomsk Region in November 2018, a corresponding protocol was signed, and SIBUR had already created a project team. Within the framework of the agreements reached, the parties plan to develop cooperation in the field of petrochemistry and technological modeling, as well as in the field of personnel training.
General Director of HitLab OOO, Konstantin Poletaev, reported on portable hydrogen power sources for unmanned aerial vehicles and robotics. The company is a resident of the Ulyanovsk Center for Technology Transfer and is engaged in research in the field of powder metallurgy, metal matrix composites and metal hydrides. Ulyanovsk know-how is the storage of hydrogen in solid state, while the weight is comparable to balloon storage. The cost of energy consumption is comparable to lithium-ion batteries. “Today, the world is at a crossroads: developing either batteries or fuel cells”, summarized the message to Rustam Minnikhanov. - We will cooperate with you”.
The project of creating a biochemical cluster was presented by Igor Gunbin, Director of the Engineering Department of Khimmash-Apparat OOO (Dubna, Moscow Region). The company is engaged in bioplastic and bioprotein. The company has already developed a technology for simultaneous production of both compounds.
Rustam Minnikhanov instructed to study this proposal, including with participation of Tatneft.
Representatives of the American IT company Oracle also spoke at the meeting. They reported that Oracle was working on implementation of its software solutions with companies of fuel and energy complex of Tatarstan. This is a digital transformation of enterprises. The company develops a system of integrated business planning, budgeting, automation of procurement process. Work with enterprises of TAIF NK AZS, Tatneft, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, and TGK-16 is already in progress. There are also a number of educational activities with IT developers.
Minister of Economy of the Republic Farid Abdulganiev took part in the meeting of the Board of Directors of Tatneftekhiminvest-Holding OAO.
