An expanded meeting of Supervisory Board of the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan was held in Kazan with participation of President Rustam Minnikhanov, Executive Director of the Russian Venture Capital Association (RAVI), Albina Nikkonen and General Director, Chairman of the Board of Russian Venture Company Aleksandr Povalko. The event was attended by the Minister of Economy of the Republic - Farid Abdulganiev.
During the meeting of Supervisory Board, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Venture Company Joint-Stock Company. The document was signed by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan, Aleksey Pesoshin and the General Director of Russian Venture Company AO, Aleksandr Povalko.
A “road map” on cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Russian Venture Company in development of venture infrastructure of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2019–2021 was also signed. The “roadmap” includes measures for development of regional infrastructure, creation of financial instruments for market correction in the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as promotion and globalization of innovation activity.
One of the identified areas of interaction between the Republic of Tatarstan and RVC is replication of the republic’s experience in the field of open innovation. This direction will be implemented jointly with the INNOCAM Association within the framework of the portal of the Russian Open Innovation Center Innoscope, which is being implemented with support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Association of Innovative Regions of Russia and the Representative Office of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Innoscope is a digital multi-user platform aimed at creation of the Russian open innovation market through operational interaction in the field of technology and engineering according to the principle “from specialist to specialist”. The platform provides opportunities for organizing a request for technological solutions, commercialization of existing developments, searching for partners in scientific and technological sphere, discussing original ideas and concepts, as well as searching for engineering services and high-tech equipment. The platform is supported by the largest base of high-tech equipment and engineering services in Russia, as well as a catalog of existing technologies and developments, which allows participants to quickly find interesting competences in organizations throughout the country. It also realized the possibility of creating cooperation projects and technological consortia.
