Today, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, met with graduates of the V educational project “Entrepreneurship Factory”. The event was held at the Kazan Federal University with support of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The President of Tatarstan got acquainted with the exhibition, where dozens of start-ups in the field of agriculture, jewelry, clothing production were presented.
In his welcoming speech, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasizes that the republic pays great attention to development of small and medium-sized businesses. Implementation of the “Entrepreneurship Factory” project contributes to this work. “Start-up entrepreneurs need support, they often lack experience and necessary knowledge in various areas. It is important that the “Entrepreneurship Factory” continues its active work further, popularizing business among young people”, he said. In addition to educational courses, start-up entrepreneurs need support, especially in early stages of the project, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan stated. “The main thing is that we must not only tell, but also accompany them. Sometimes, starting a business, a person cannot decide in which niche he will work and begins to be distracted by unnecessary questions. Here it is necessary to suggest, help to focus on a specific direction”, added Rustam Minnikhanov.
During the meeting, a number of business projects were presented to the President of Tatarstan. In particular, 13-year-old Daniyar Gumarov spoke about his plans to develop his own production of cheeses. The young man already sells his products, but to increase the volume, it is necessary to equip a cheese factory and purchase additional equipment. Rustam Minnikhanov approved this project, promising a young businessman to assist in its implementation.
About 300 entrepreneurs, experts and representatives of republican ministries and departments took part in the event.
In 2018, within the framework of the “Entrepreneurship Factory” project, entrepreneurship workshops with more than 5,000 people were organized and held, and START education course was held for start-up businessmen in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsk, Elabuga and Bavly. Over 5 years of project implementation, more than 3 thousand people have been trained, 800 new business projects have been launched. Assistance to start-up entrepreneurs was provided by 250 mentors and 220 partners.
