60 Tatarstan projects - winners of the second presidential grant competition in 2018

95.3 million rubles will be allocated for development of 60 projects of Tatarstan non-profit non-governmental organizations. Financial support will be provided based on the results of the second competition in 2018 for provision of grants of the President of the Russian Federation.

As a result of the first and second competitions, 118 projects from the republic became holders of a grant in the amount of 174.1 million rubles. Among them:

- more than 20% are projects aimed at protecting the health of citizens, promoting a healthy lifestyle;

- 18% - projects aimed at preserving historical memory;

- 13% - social services, social support and protection of citizens; support of projects in the field of culture and art;

- more than 9% - aimed at supporting family, motherhood, fatherhood and childhood.

More than 60% of the winning projects are from Kazan, more than 9% from Naberezhnye Chelny, about 8% from Spasskiy district, more than 4% from Elabuzhskiy and Zelenodolskiy districts, about 3% from Almetyevskiy district.

This competition is held by the Presidential Grants Foundation twice a year. It is aimed at supporting socially significant projects of non-profit non-governmental organizations.
