Today, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, took part in a seminar-meeting on the issue of enhancing the participation of the Republic in programs supporting the Innovation Promotion Fund.
In 2017, the Foundation held competitions for support programs “UMNIK”, “START”, “Commercialization”, “Development-STI”. According to the results of the “Commercialization” competition, 4 projects from Tatarstan for a total amount of 59 million rubles became winners; under the program “Development-STI” - 9 projects won for a total amount of 112 million rubles (in the areas of Energinet, Aeronet and Autonet - by 1 application, Neuronet and Technet - by 3 applications). The competition was attended by businessmen from Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, as well as Zelenodolskiy, Laishevskiy, Vysokogorskiy, Pestrechinskiy and Chistopolskiy municipal districts; under the UMNIK program of support for young scientists, 29 projects with 14.5 million rubles were supported; The program of support for start-up small innovative companies "START" supported about 22 projects for 49.9 million rubles.
In general, by the number of supported projects, the Republic of Tatarstan is traditionally among the leading regions and takes the 4th place (after such regions as Moscow, St. Petersburg, the Moscow region).
This year a major competition has already taken place in the third stage of the Development-STI program, where 7 projects from the Republic of Tatarstan won 123.2 million rubles. According to the “Commercialization” program, 5 projects with 52 million rubles became winners.
Currently applications for competitions under the program "Cooperation" (until November 1), as well as under the programs "UMNIK" and "START" are being accepted.
The Minister of Economy of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, called on young scientists and start-up entrepreneurs to participate more actively in these competitions.
