Moscow hosted the First Family Entrepreneurs Forum “Successful Family - Successful Russia”
First Family Entrepreneurs Forum "Successful Family - Successful Russia!" was held in Moscow. Representatives of more than 80 regions of the country gathered at the Expocentre site. The initiator was the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
Speaking at the opening of the Forum, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Sergey Katyrin, stressed that “Family business is not only entrepreneurship, not only economics. Those involved in family businesses often support sports, art, construction of schools and hospitals. It is well known to all how much the family dynasties did in former times in the most diverse periods of Russian society. And today, with the advent of family entrepreneurship, these traditions of complicity in necessary and important affairs of the state, especially in social sphere, are also reviving. This is correct because family is the backbone of society and state”. In his opinion, the Forum will become traditional and will help to solve the issues of formation and development of this area of entrepreneurship.
The Republic of Tatarstan was represented by companies from different fields of activity: peasant farm enterprise Beloglazova E.E. - dairy products, Individual Entrepreneur Zaripova Milyausha Vakkasovna - cargo transportation, Interregional Center of Speech Neurology OOO (Limited Liability Company) - medical services, Individual Entrepreneur Kozhevnikov V.F. - publishing.

Despite the fact that this Forum was held for the first time, it gathered a fairly large number of participants from different parts of our country. It is great that the discussion platforms of the Forum considered issues of assistance and support for family entrepreneurship in Russia and the prospects for its development, and samples of light and food industries were presented in the exhibition pavilions.
Russia has always been strong with its strong families and historically it happened that the family business in our country in the pre-revolutionary times strengthened the stronghold of the state, was its reliable support.
We hope that this event will attract public attention, become traditional, expand its borders and will contribute to the development of family entrepreneurship in our country”.
Vladimir Kozhevnikov: “It is remarkable that this forum was held under the auspices of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry. There were very interesting moments on discussion platforms, there is something to learn and put into practice. It is noteworthy that at the plenary session, a survey of entrepreneurs showed that one of the most pressing problems for doing business is taxation. I would like the government to hear this. There were interesting topics about the inheritance of family business, about taxation of family entrepreneurship, about creation of All-Russian club of family companies. The first forum was successful. I hope that it will be continued”.
The forum included several discussion platforms: “Family-business-state: components of a successful partnership”, “Foresight-workshop: business forward! Technologies for enterprises that are not standing still"," Cooperation for efficiency - new growth opportunities", "International living room "family business - how it works abroad".
During the meeting, a survey of participants was conducted. Following the discussions in the plenary session, proposals will be formulated, the implementation of which should help family companies overcome excessive administrative barriers and conduct business more effectively.
The Forum was attended by heads of federal and regional authorities, representatives of public organizations, business, and expert community.
