"Days of United Russia" were held in Zelenodolsk. 5 sites in the framework of the projects "Healthy Future" and "New School" were functioning. On the basis of the District House of Culture, a round table was held with the participation of representatives of Socially-oriented non-profit organizations in the sphere of rendering assistance to children with disabilities under the leadership of Rimma Ratnikova, Deputy Secretary of the regional branch of the United Russia party for the project activity.
"Parents of children with disabilities are very active in the republic, they unite, create groups in social networks, non-profit organizations. But often we face poor awareness. They do not always know what opportunities are available for rehabilitating handicapped children, which grants can be obtained for a public organization, both at the republican and federal levels. Perhaps they do not always have enough knowledge of the legal framework for social project management. Such sites are strategically important", Rimma Ratnikova stressed.
Representatives of the Republican Resource Center of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Public Chamber of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Center for Social Innovations (the Resource Center for Support of SO NPOs), took part in the round table. Each of them spoke about the experience of working with SO NPOs and that any goals are achievable, projects are realizable and there are various sources of support.
"Information support for NPOs is one of the main ones. Our center does everything for NPOs to know about contests and grants. But this is not enough. It is important to be able to prepare a qualitative social project, a grant application. In this regard, we, together with Kazan Federal University, conduct seminars and other educational programs, including traveling to the districts," said Anton Dyganov, Head of the Resource Center for Support of SO NPOs.
One of the main theses was presented by the Head of social projects of the Charity Fund "Strength in Children" Nina Kostenko: "There are enough opportunities for development of NPOs now. There are different programs. Most importantly, it is to strive to receive information, and here I would like to thank resource centers. And also - to be friends and strive for partnership relations".
At the end of the roundtable, the representatives of the NPOs were able to talk about their activities, their expectations for further joint work, and also to receive individual consultations.
