Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia supported projects of industrial clusters of the Republic of Tatarstan

Approved projects for the production of modern batteries and PAN-fibers will receive subsidy support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia by the end of 2018.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation summed up the results of the meeting of the contest committee for selection of joint projects of industrial clusters participants, which was held on September 10.
By the Order of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation dated September 21, 2018, joint projects of the Machine Building Cluster of the Republic of Tatarstan "Production of storage batteries using EFB technology" (initiator of the project is “ Bars Technology” OOO (Limited Liability Company) and the Interregional Industrial Cluster "Composites without Borders" "Organization of Modern Production of PAN Fibers" ( initiator of the project - "Alabuga-Volokno", OOO) were included in the register of joint projects of industrial clusters. Enterprises of clusters will receive a non-repayable subsidy in the amount of 247.5 million rubles and 497 million rubles, respectively.
Subsidies to participants of industrial clusters are provided for reimbursement of up to 50% of costs by implementing joint projects for the production of import-substituting industrial products. In total, in 2018, the Ministry of Industry and Trade submitted 24 applications from participants of industrial clusters with a total need for subsidies of more than 6.8 billion rubles.
As a result of the meeting, 17 joint projects were approved with a planned volume of subsidies of 4.7 billion rubles until the end of 2022. At the same time, the total amount of extrabudgetary investments in projects will almost triple the volume of the subsidy and amount to 13.8 billion rubles. More than 3,500 high-performance jobs will be created. The products of a number of projects also have an export potential of more than 1 billion rubles annually in the countries of near and far abroad.
