Rustam Minnikhanov became a member of the Government Commission for Economic Modernization and Innovative Development of Russia

Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan, became a member of the Government Commission for Economic Modernization and Innovative Development of Russia. This is reported in Resolution No. 1078 of 10 September 2018 and Order No. 1911-p of September 10, 2018, published on the website of the Government of the country.

The commission consisted of representatives of federal executive bodies, authorities of the constituent units of the Federation, business community, scientific, educational and other organizations. The commission is headed by Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Government of Russia.

As noted in the Resolution, the main tasks of the commission are the following:

- definition of the main directions and mechanisms of modernization of the economy and innovative development, including the development of measures of state support in this area of ​​activity;

- definition of priority directions, forms and methods of state regulation with a view of modernization of economy and innovative development, including improvement of the legislation;

- ensuring coordination of activities of federal executive bodies, executive authorities of the constituent units of the Federation, local governments, scientific and other organizations on issues of economic modernization, innovative development and implementation of the National Technological Initiative.
